ALLERGIES A-Z
Allergies are a common disorder, affecting about twenty to thirty percent of the population worldwide.
It is a genetic condition that tends to run in the family. Allergy symptoms can range from mild to severe. The most common symptoms are: Sneezing, coughing or wheezing, itchy nose and throat, throat hoarseness, runny or clogged nose with clear, thin mucus, watery, itchy, red, or swollen eyes, congestion and fatigue.
If allergy symptoms are making you miserable, you should consider seeing an allergist. An allergist will take a thorough history and may conduct tests to determine what is triggering your symptoms and work with you to develop a management plan, which may include medication and certain environmental controls.
Allergy appointments are available at our Nassau office. Please call and schedule your appointment today.
